Terms & Conditions

Last updated: February 1, 2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Skytranvel platform. These terms govern your access to and use of our flight search, booking, and travel services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Skytranvel website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Services"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our Services.

Skytranvel reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically for the latest information.

These terms apply to all users of the Services, including browsers, customers, travel agents, and any other persons who access or use the platform in any capacity.

2. Booking and Reservations

When you make a booking through Skytranvel, you enter into a contract with the relevant airline(s) for the provision of air travel services. Skytranvel acts as an intermediary and is not the provider of the flight services. All bookings are subject to the airline's own terms and conditions, fare rules, and conditions of carriage.

You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during the booking process is accurate and complete, including passenger names (as they appear on passports), contact details, and travel dates. Errors in passenger information may result in denied boarding, and Skytranvel cannot be held liable for consequences arising from incorrect information provided by you.

Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment and issuance of a booking confirmation email with a valid PNR (Passenger Name Record) reference. Pending bookings may be automatically cancelled if payment is not received within the specified timeframe.

3. Payment Terms

All prices displayed on Skytranvel are in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise specified. Prices include applicable taxes and surcharges at the time of display but may be subject to change until payment is completed. Fare availability and pricing are provided in real-time from our airline partners and may fluctuate.

We accept payment via major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), PayPal, and bank transfer. A service fee may apply to certain payment methods, which will be clearly displayed before you confirm your payment. All transactions are processed securely using PCI DSS compliant payment systems.

In the event of a payment failure or dispute, Skytranvel reserves the right to cancel the associated booking. Refunds for cancelled bookings due to payment issues will be processed in accordance with the Cancellation and Refund Policy outlined in Section 4.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation and refund policies vary depending on the airline, fare type, and route. Non-refundable fares are clearly marked at the time of booking. For refundable fares, cancellation fees may apply as determined by the airline's fare rules. Skytranvel's own service fee is non-refundable in all circumstances.

To request a cancellation, you must contact Skytranvel customer support or use the self-service cancellation feature in your account dashboard. Cancellation requests must be made prior to the scheduled departure time. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 7-14 business days to the original payment method.

For bookings made within 24 hours, Australian Consumer Law may provide additional protections. If you believe you are entitled to a refund that has been denied, you may lodge a complaint through our customer support channels or contact the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

5. Passenger Responsibilities

Passengers are responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents, including valid passports, visas, health certificates, and transit permits required for their journey. Skytranvel provides general guidance on visa requirements but does not guarantee the accuracy of this information. It is your sole responsibility to verify requirements with the relevant embassy or consulate.

Passengers must arrive at the airport with sufficient time for check-in, security screening, and boarding as recommended by the airline. Failure to arrive on time may result in denied boarding with no entitlement to a refund or rebooking.

All passengers must comply with the airline's conditions of carriage, including rules regarding acceptable behaviour, prohibited items, and safety instructions. Skytranvel is not responsible for any actions taken by airlines against passengers who violate these rules.

6. Baggage Policy

Baggage allowances are determined by the operating airline and fare class. Details of included baggage allowances are displayed during the booking process and on your e-ticket confirmation. It is the passenger's responsibility to review and understand the baggage policy before travelling.

Excess baggage charges are set by the airline and must be paid directly to the airline at the airport or through the airline's own prepurchase options. Skytranvel is not responsible for excess baggage charges, lost baggage, or damaged baggage. Claims for lost or damaged baggage must be directed to the airline.

7. Travel Documents

It is the passenger's responsibility to hold a valid passport with a minimum of six (6) months validity from the date of return travel. Some destinations require additional validity periods. Passengers travelling on non-Australian passports should verify entry requirements for both their destination and any transit countries.

E-tickets and booking confirmations are delivered electronically to the email address provided during booking. It is recommended that passengers print or save digital copies of all travel documents, including e-tickets, booking confirmations, and visa approvals.

Skytranvel is not liable for denied boarding or entry refusal due to inadequate travel documentation. No refunds will be provided in such circumstances.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information. We encourage you to read the Privacy Policy carefully.

9. Limitation of Liability

Skytranvel acts as an intermediary between you and the airline(s) and is not liable for the acts, omissions, or defaults of any airline, hotel, or third-party service provider. This includes, but is not limited to, flight cancellations, delays, schedule changes, overbooking, or any failure to provide services as advertised by the airline.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skytranvel's total liability to you for any claims arising from or in connection with your use of the Services shall not exceed the total amount of service fees paid by you to Skytranvel for the relevant booking.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred on you by the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) or any other applicable law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales for the resolution of any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or your use of the Services.

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The Australian Consumer Law applies to these Terms and Conditions and cannot be excluded by contract.
